LOCAL GOVERNMENT AWARDS

Nominations NOW OPEN for 2013 Awards 

MM-LG-Awards-2012-Excellence-DarebinMobileMuster invites participating councils to nominate themselves for the 2013 MobileMuster Local Government Awards.

The 2013 Awards will be announced at the National General Assembly of Local Government in Canberra from 17-20 June 2013. Nominations are being sought for the "National Excellence", "Best Promoter" and "Working with Schools" awards. Nominations for these three awards close on Friday, June 7, 2013.

Councils can download a nomination form (PDF) here. 

The "Top Collector/Recycler (Overall)" and "Top Collector/Recycler (Per Capita)" awards are based on collections received between 1 May 2012 and 30 April 2013. Councils are advised to book a pick-up of any phones they have by 22nd April to ensure they are included in the count!

MobileMuster's Local Government Awards were introduced in 2007 to recognise the outstanding efforts of local councils in promoting and collecting mobile phone components for recycling.

Five awards are presented each year (in June) at the Australian Local Government National General Assembly in Canberra.
