Turning the tide on waste this summer
Recycle your mobile this summer and help Take 3 for the Sea reduce plastic pollution in our oceans. Win win!
How does it work?
- Take three minutes at home to dig out your old mobile phones and accessories. Transfer and remove any data you have on your mobile phone. Follow our simple data management tips.
- Recycle at your local mobile phone retail store including Telstra, Optus and Vodafone stores or search for your local drop-off point. You can also pick up a free recycling satchel from AusPost.
- For every mobile phone recycled over January and February you will be helping Take 3 for the Sea remove plastic pollution in our oceans. Terms and conditions apply.
MobileMuster, has teamed up with not-for-profit organisation, Take 3 for the Sea, to support its mission to reduce plastic pollution in our oceans. We have set a target to collect at least 30,000 old mobile phones over January and February 2019, for every mobile phone that is recycled with MobileMuster it will help Take 3 for the Sea remove plastics from our oceans and waterways. This means that Australians can declutter their homes, help save precious resources by recycling their old phones and clean up the environment.
Remember you can help Take 3 for the Sea by collecting 3 pieces of rubbish when you leave the beach, waterway or park. You can also snap and share a photo with #Take3fortheSea to inspire others. Support the movement and do your bit to reduce plastic pollution in our oceans.
