Electronic waste, or e-waste, is currently growing at three times the rate of general waste in Australia.
Join our War on Waste to do something about it. Recycling your mobile phone is easier than you think, it only takes two steps:
- Remove any data from your old mobile phone. Read our data management tips.
- Drop off at a collection point or send us your phone.
You can recycle with MobileMuster at any participating retail store including your local Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, Samsung, Officeworks, Battery World or Salvos store. We have 3,500 drop off locations around Australia, including local councils and workplaces. Alternatively, pick up a free Mobile Muster satchel available from AusPost.
The War in Waste program inspires students to solve our waste problems. Students can look at the growing problem of electronic waste and encourages the community to take action. Use our resources to start a war on electronic waste at school.
